Martin Toyer, CEO
Martin Toyer has spent more than fifteen years working providing technology solutions to the financial industry. He founded TFG in 2007 to focus on providing solutions to the risk management and operational needs of asset managers. Previously, Martin was a senior manager of a team of 12 developers at a tier 1 investment bank, where he was responsible for real time pricing of European bonds and non exotic interest rate swaps; prior to that his team developed the risk analytics and systems used within the bank’s global risk management systems area. In 2005 Martin was invited to help launch a global macro hedge fund; he helped design the in-house trading /operational platform and developed a suite of sophisticated risk tools. Martin holds a Mathematics degree from Brasenose College, Oxford University.
Mike Ingram, Head of Software Development
Mike Ingram is Head of Development for TFG and joined in January 2009. Mike spent the previous 10 years managing development teams and developing financial software for a tier 1 investment bank. This included front office pricing and risk, market risk and credit risk over a range of asset classes (Fixed Income Derivatives, FX Derivatives, Equity Derivatives and Commodity Derivatives) Mike holds a PhD in Experimental Particle Physics from Manchester University (partly undertaken at CERN)
Alison Lumb, Finance Director
Alison Lumb has spent 10 years working within the finance sector, holding various roles including fixed income product control positions at tier 1 investment banks and was Head of Operations within a global macro hedge fund. As well as being responsible for the business side of TFG, Alison assists the development team in ensuring TFG meets the operational requirements and needs of middle office users. Alison holds a degree in Geography from the university of Bristol and is ACMA and IMC qualified.
Georgia Brewster, Sales Manager
Georgia Brewster joined TFG in October 2009, she is responsible for Sales development and Marketing. She brings with her ten years experience working in the financial markets building relationships, securing and growing business including 5 years working in a front office capacity trading UK equities and 5 years as a Sales Manager at Bloomberg L.P. covering both sell-side and buy-side institutions in the Netherlands.
Dr. Tim O'Brien, Non-Exec Director
Dr. Tim O’Brien is a Psychologist who works with individuals and teams in all aspects of performance. He has written and leads ‘Executive Leadership’ and ‘Talent Development’ programmes for global businesses. He also works with individuals and teams at board and executive level: coaching CEOs and Directors and leading teams in corporate development, strategy and culture change. He currently works in a variety of sectors including Finance, Media, Publishing and Retail. Tim has held a variety of full-time senior academic posts, his last being at The University of London. He lectures nationally and internationally in his specialist fields.
Jeni Lofthouse, Non-Exec Director
Jeni Lofthouse is a qualified lawyer and chartered accountant. For several years she was a partner in an investment management company with responsibility for all non-trading areas. Her particular areas of expertise are compliance, taxation and corporate governance. She has been a director of TFG Fund Services Ltd since its inception and has been instrumental in structuring and advising the company on a wide range of business issues.
